We have had a few issues with keys lately so please find below important information.
If you lock yourself out of your room or front door because you have left your key inside or through your own fault and it is in working hours:
- 30am- 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
- 30am – 3.30pm Friday
- 9am-11.30am Saturday
Message me and we will come out to let you in free of charge. If it is outside these hours, then message me and if someone is around to let you in you will be charged £30 call out charge to be paid up front.
If we cannot attend, you will have to call out a locksmith and you will be liable for their full cost of the work involved to allow you access again, which will include an out of hours call out charge. If gaining access to your property or bedroom has resulted in you being issued with a new key, we will require two copies of this. Please message me the next day so that this can be given to us otherwise if you get locked out again and we do not have a spare key, you will be liable for the costs to have a new lock refitted again.
If you lose your key, you will be liable for any work that needs to be carried out to replace the lock especially on the front door and to get new keys cut for all housemates and two spare for us.
If you are locked out due to a faulty lock or door, then we would cover these costs, but please contact us before calling out a locksmith to get authority to go ahead.
If you have bedroom keys, we strongly advise you cut a copy of each one and store them somewhere safe in the house that’s easily accessible in the event of a lock-out to save you the call out charge.
